Why is this library named after a criminal on whose orders tens of millions of people were murdered, starved and raped?

He was a brutal dictator and an awful man who murdered millions and smiled about it. Now we laugh at him and his memory. We make fun of him. (The name is a joke: this compiler performs brutal optimization.) We have the last laugh.

I can assure you that if Stalin were alive today, he would not appreciate this act of spitting upon his memory.
