Is torch_xla going to be deprecated soon?

Folks, based on the fact that last commit was Dec 18, 2025 and some comments in issues - does it mean that torch_xla project will no longer be actively developed and is deprecated de-facto?

that's a question that i also want to ask. given #9684, it seems that they are deprecating this project or at least there will be a major refactor.
