You can place one ladder on y: 255 block and destroy it. You will get a lot of ladders and make lags.

No, that does not work this way. see https://github.com/OpenMods/OpenBlocks/blob/master/src/main/java/openblocks/common/block/BlockRopeLadder.java#L52 Depending on config, ladders can work in "one item = blocks all the way down, but no drops" mode or in "one item = one block = one drop on break" mode. Unless that config flag changed midway (between versions), behaviour you described is impossible without other mods breaking stuff. |
