πŸ“‚ Featured Projects

Integrated System for Reservations and Public Space Management
Web platform for booking municipal spaces and purchasing tickets for public events.

  • Backend: Java 21, Maven, SOAP Web Services on Ubuntu. Modular architecture with domain, data, business, and service layers.
  • Frontend: ASP.NET Web Forms (C#, Bootstrap) on Windows. User, sales, and reporting modules.
  • Database: MySQL on AWS Academy, with encrypted credentials.
  • Key features: online reservations, ticket purchases, multiple payment methods (card, Yape, Plin), automatic notifications, sales dashboard, and PDF/Excel receipts.

Detection of fraudulent banking transactions
Predictive fraud model for financial institutions.

  • Content: academic documentation, Python/Scikit-learn code, algorithm analysis and training.
  • Models evaluated: Logistic Regression and Random Forest.
  • Results: Random Forest achieved a 95% recall, detecting almost all fraud cases.
  • Ethical aspects: data privacy, bias, and security against adversarial attacks.

Visual working memory
Experiment based on the study by Allen, DeStefano, and Brady (2021).

  • Objective: evaluate how prelearned chunks (known words) influence identity memory and perceptual detail.
  • Design: task with letter pairs in different fonts, 4-AFC recognition test.
  • Expected results: contrast between theoretical models (content-free vs. distributed/hierarchical) to explain detail preservation.
