Summary

This RFC proposes publishing official OCI-compliant container images for ESLint to address the current fragmentation of unofficial images across the ecosystem.

Problem:

Numerous unofficial ESLint images exist on Docker Hub and GitHub Container Registry
No standardized, maintained solution from the ESLint team
Security and trust concerns with third-party images

Proposed Solution:

Publish Alpine and Debian-based images to GitHub Container Registry
Automated builds with each ESLint release
Multi-architecture support (amd64, arm64)

Thanks for putting this together. Our process requires that we agree on whether or not we'll consider a feature before accepting or reviewing an RFC about it. So, let's keep the conversation on the issue until we reach that point:
